  American Association of Equine Practioners - The American Association of Equine Practitioners, more commonly known as the AAEP, began in 1954 as a group of 12 charter members who saw that together they could direct the focus of equine veterinary medicine. To improve the health and welfare of the horse, to further the professional development of its members, and to provide resources and leadership for the benefit of the equine industry.

Tetra Trails - Texas Equestrian Trail Riders Association.  The purpose of this organization is to promote all phases of trail riding as a family activity; to educate the public as to the care and conditioning of the equine for trail activities; to promote environmental responsibilities, trail etiquette and safety; and to establish, improve and maintain trails and finally, to preserve the love of equines in Texas
